Dear hoory, as long as I know, "worth" is not a verb to be said: something worth a lot. It is an adjective meaning
"ارزشمند".
so we have to say "sth is worth a lot".
This sentence is from Dictionary:
These books might be worth $80.
And have a look at these results.

There is no different between "I'm really appreciated it" and "I appreciate it"
First one means:
من قدردان آن هستم
and the second one means:
من بابت آن از شما قدردانی می‌کنم
Look it up in Internet.
I prefer first one, however it is more bookish vs the second one...

According to this sentence, again from dictionary:
Queses were sometimes a quarter than a mile.
I think MHGH's sentence is correct:
Sometimes I gave her some gifts...
What do you think?
Notice that MHGH, speaks about the past not an action that is in progress...
He doesn't want to say "I usually give her gifts", he wants to say: "I've given her in the past" so he can say "Sometimes I gave her..."

I could say "Your notes are worth a lot and they're really appreciated" but yes, it is better to say: Your notes are worth a lot and I really appreciate them.

If I'm not mistaken I heard "as long as I know" from my teacher and trusted him and used it but it seems that it is "as far as I know..."
